About Maintastic

We are Maintastic

We believe maintenance is a strategic driver of value creation in manufacturing, and it deserves the most advanced digital tools. As the foundation for reliable equipment, stable production, and long-term competitiveness, maintenance plays a critical role in every industrial operation.

That’s why we’re guided by a clear mission: to create innovative software that truly inspires – easy to use, built for seamless collaboration, and powered by AI, mobile technology, and smart assistance exactly where conventional CMMS solutions reach their limits.

For everyone responsible for assets – committed to empowering their team and optimizing maintenance processes.

What drives us

Maintastic was born out of a clear insight: maintenance has vast untapped potential, yet many of its processes are unnecessarily complicated. From the very beginning, our motivation has been to make the work of maintenance professionals and technicians easier, more efficient, and more transparent. We believe modern maintenance deserves more than spreadsheets, paper forms, or overly complicated systems.
Our journey began in 2016 with the founding of oculavis – a spin-off of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and RWTH Aachen University. With our remote assistance solution, oculavis SHARE, we transformed customer service and field support by eliminating thousands of unnecessary technician visits worldwide and paving the way to digital service models for many machinery manufacturers.
In 2025, we’re entering a new era: Maintastic redefines maintenance by placing collaboration at its core, representing both a strategic shift and the next step in our evolution toward an AI-powered CMMS for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
