Maintastic Version 24.0

Version 24.0 introduces new capabilities for multilingual ticket creation, maintenance planning, as well as improved visual communication and reporting.

🗣️ AI Voice Input with Automatic Translation (Smartphones & Tablets)

In multinational teams, machine operators and technicians often speak different languages while planning and documentation must be maintained in a shared company language. With the new translation feature, machine operators and technicians can create tickets via voice input in their preferred language and the content is then automatically translated into the centrally configured company language.

Benefits:

Consistent ticket data: Title, description, and text fields are automatically translated into the target language configured in the Management Panel, creating consistent data as a reliable basis for analysis and reporting.
Central configuration: The target language is configured by administrators or ticket managers in the Management Panel and applies organization-wide.
Broad language support: Translation supports German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, and many more languages.

To facilitate better planning and preparation for preventive work, we have introduced control over when work orders are generated relative to their scheduled events. This ensures that teams are not overwhelmed by tickets while at the same time ensuring enough preparation time for more complex preventive work orders.

Maintaining a reliable audit trail is critical for compliance and operational accountability. This update ensures that every change to the ticket schedule is tracked in the Ticket History.

🖌️ Mark Up Images During Ticket Creation & Writing Comments (Smartphones & Tablets)

A picture is worth a thousand words — but even more so when it is precisely marked up. With the new image annotation feature, machine operators und technicians can add freehand drawings to photos directly in the app, without relying on external tools. This enables precise and unambiguous documentation of damage, anomalies, and findings.

Benefits:

Annotations during ticket creation: When creating a ticket, technicians can mark up photos directly after capture and submit them with the ticket. An undo button makes annotating forgiving and individual steps can be reverted at any time.
Annotations in ticket comments: Image attachments in ticket comments can be marked up with freehand drawings directly in the app.
Individual drawing options: Color and stroke size can be freely selected to visually distinguish different types of markings. The default setting is red with a medium stroke size.
