Maintastic Version 21.0

This release marks a major leap forward in how you capture and manage maintenance data. We’re introducing AI assistance to the shop floor and giving administrators the tools to create the most streamlined ticket experience yet. Our focus is on reducing friction, so your team can spend less time on paperwork and more time keeping things running while ensuring data quality.

AI-Assisted Voice Ticket Creation (iOS)

Reporting issues on a busy shop floor should be as easy as a conversation. We’ve introduced a powerful AI-driven workflow that allows users to record voice messages to create tickets, while giving admins the possibility to configure the AI’s processing for perfect data extraction every time.

Benefits:

Speak, Don't Type: To make reporting fast and frictionless, users can now record voice messages on iOS that the system automatically transcribes and pre-fills into ticket fields.
Smart Field Mapping: To ensure high-quality data, our AI intelligently extracts details like time, priority, and problem descriptions directly from the spoken audio.
Custom AI Instructions: To improve accuracy, admins can now provide specific prompts in the Ticket Type settings to tell the AI exactly how to categorize and structure the information it hears.
Structured Output Templates: To standardize reporting, you can configure the AI to automatically organize voice notes into clear sections like "Problem Statement" "Tasks" and "Follow-up Questions."

Rollout Information

The AI-assisted ticket creation feature is being released initially only on the native iOS application in a phased rollout. Initially, it is activated for a limited group of customers to ensure system stability and performance. By default, the feature is not active for all organizations. Dynamic & Streamlined Ticket Creation

An overcrowded ticket creation form often leads to cluttered screens and missing data. To solve this, we’ve overhauled the ticket creation process so that forms dynamically adapt to the specific Ticket Type selected, showing only what’s relevant in the right order.

Benefits:

Tailored Creation Modals: To reduce clutter, administrators can now toggle the visibility of specific fields for each Ticket Type.
Enforced Data Quality: To ensure critical information is never missed, we’ve introduced mandatory field settings and removed the "skip steps" option for required data.
Single-Page Efficiency: To get users back to work faster, we’ve introduced the possibility to optimize the workflow into a streamlined single-page view.
